About Us

Nicholson Hird Ltd is a recruitment consultancy dedicated to the supply of permanent, white collar staff to the UK Manufacturing sector.

Our rule of thumb is this: if there is a factory or facility manufacturing a product of any kind, be that a windscreen wiper or a carton of milk, a shampoo or a laptop computer, we are keen to help you to recruit the highest calibre Engineer, or Buyer, or Operations Manager to support it.

Anna Hird

Anna is the founder of Nicholson Hird (Manufacturing division) and has worked in the recruitment industry for nearly 20 years, having joined the industry straight from university. Having ‘fallen into’ manufacturing recruitment in 2003, she developed a strong interest in and passion for UK manufacturing and remains very keen to support businesses with UK manufacturing sites to cope with the skills shortages we face across numerous disciplines. Anna has experience in recruiting across all manufacturing sectors and white collar job roles to include engineering, operations, CI, quality, supply chain and R&D.
